These missions are traditional, liturgical and truly Lutheran. They will emphasis the Bible in preaching; hymns from the hymnal; thorough Catechism instruction for new members and close(d) communion. The Lutheran Mission Alliance, while concentrating on traditional missions, continues to monitor the theological and doctrinal positions and actions of the mainline church. Each meeting of the LMA from now on will have a doctrinal paper to establish our common unity and goals.
