These missions are traditional, liturgical and truly Lutheran. They will emphasis the Bible in preaching; hymns from the hymnal; thorough Catechism instruction for new members and close(d) communion. Like your grandfather’s church, but with air conditioning. This is a step of faith for these new mission organizations, so your support is needed. Pray and give for these missions. The Lutheran Mission Alliance, while concentrating on traditional missions, continues to monitor the theological and doctrinal positions and actions of the mainline church. Each meeting of the LMA from now on will have a doctrinal paper to establish our common unity and goals. Our congregations want to encourage each other as we “see the Day coming.” (Heb. 10) Contact the LMA at http://www.l-m-a.org
